From humble beginnings, Phoenix Healthcare has risen from the garage to the innovative health provider we are today. Catherine brings over two decades of healthcare experience in a variety of settings, including 14 years as a General Practitioner. Locally trained (Dunedin and Christchurch) and with a passion for Women’s Health, Youth and Transgender Healthcare, Indigenous Healthcare, Mental Wellbeing, and Lifestyle Health, she is committed to enhancing services and fostering a sustainable work environment for the Phoenix team. Outside of her professional life, she finds energy in the great outdoors and loves being surrounded by trees and mountains, whether she’s camping, tramping, trail running, or mountain biking.
Sara completed her medical studies in 2015 in Spain, since which time she has worked in Spain and completed her training as a Specialist in Family and Community Medicine in 2020. She enjoys providing continuous care for her patients as a basis for maintaining health. She moved with her husband to New Zealand in 2021 as they both enjoy the New Zealand lifestyle in contact with nature.
Lukas has worked in General Practice since 2020 after switching from hospital medicine. His parents migrated from Switzerland and he grew up on an organic farm in Christchurch, he still enjoys working and being in the outdoors and spending time with his young family. He has a special interest in minor surgery but really enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Robin has been a nurse for over 15 years and currently serves as a Designated Nurse Prescriber. She is continuing her studies and is on the path to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Robin enjoys working with families and individuals, building relationships with people to provide long term, good quality continuity of care. She has done additional training in diabetes management to provide support and care to people who are living with diabetes, which is her passion.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children and family, cooking, gardening, and going for a walk or run in the hills.
Our Practice Nurse Claire is passionate about primary/preventative health in the community & enjoy building patient-therapeutic relationships across the lifespan. In her spare time she enjoys exploring walking trails, starting a new craft project or looking after her pet leopard gecko! She has been an integral part of the awesome team at Phoenix Health Hub, where she also supports the ear wax removal clinic.
Hannah has extensive experience having worked in the UK as a medical receptionist for two years. She is thrilled to be in New Zealand and has been a committed member of the Phoenix Health Hub team for quite some time.
Swapna, our highly experienced ear technician, is known for her friendly demeanour and attention to detail. Her expertise in the microsuction technique guarantees a safe and effective treatment for removing ear wax.
Originally from the UK, Elise has extensive experience in health and wellbeing. Her work spans various settings and she’s passionate about holistic health. She loves enjoying New Zealand’s stunning outdoors with her family.
Karen emigrated to New Zealand from the UK in 2006, having been a Registered Nurse since leaving school many years ago. She began her occupational health career in 1999 and still enjoys this specialty, helping to ensure or improve the health of individuals in a variety of workplaces. As the Occupational Health Nurse Manager, she is responsible for the management and specialist clinical care and nursing practices in the unit. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, planning her next travel adventure, and catching up with her sons and grandson.
Rosa has extensive experience and expertise in workplace health and safety. She excels in developing and implementing comprehensive occupational health programs tailored to diverse workplace environments.
Ruth commenced Occupational Health Nursing around 2002, after working in a variety of health settings as a registered nurse. She attained a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from Massey University and has worked alongside a variety of firms from office to industrial company settings. She has a genuine interest in people and what they do for employment. Ruth’s pastime interests are tramping, jogging, gardening, reading and craft.
With over 15 years of experience working in the health sector including time training as an osteopath my entrepreneurial flare has been central to the growth of Phoenix Healthcare Group. I enjoy spending time at the gym to stay in shape and visiting new places in New Zealand and around the globe. I love business and new ideas on how to improve people’s quality of life.
Claire is an experienced and strategic operational leader with a distinguished career spanning various significant roles. Her extensive experience and leadership have honed her skills in managing complex operations and steering organisations towards excellence.
Neha moved to New Zealand shortly after finishing her Accounting master’s degree in the UK. She is passionate about collaborating with people and building lasting relationships. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for early childhood learning at the Central Library and supporting the elderly and disabled.
Chenoa is a dedicated practice manager with over 20 years experience in health administration. She has a passion for quality health service delivery, especially in primary care.
Hello there! I’m Sharon, a fervent believer in the untapped capabilities that reside within individuals, especially in the realm of human potential. As a HRBP, my purpose is to guide and inspire others to unlock their latent strengths and unleash human potential! I have clocked up 27 years’ experience across the human service sector in servant/leadership. Manaaki i te katoa engari whaiwhai whakangahau. (Care for the people while having fun!)
Raghav is responsible for overseas operations, looking after Health N Home in Australia. He brings a strategic and results-oriented approach to managing complex, cross-functional teams. Currently based in Christchurch, he oversees the delivery of high-quality services for NDIS, DVA, iCare, NIISQ, and iCare clients. His approach centres on innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering exceptional value to clients and partners.
